VARIO Advisory Report 36 ‘Future of the Flemish cluster policy’ discussed at the Flemish Government

Last Friday, 31th May, the advisory reports of VARIO, SERV, HBC, and the consolidated advice of the 6 spearhead clusters in response to the 'Green Paper: the future of the Flemish cluster policy' were on the agenda of the Flemish Government. The reports are largely in line with each other, but the communication from the Flemish Government explicitly refers to a number of unique highlights from VARIO advisory report 36.

The green paper and the bundled advisory reports will serve as a basis for the policy proposal that VLAIO can develop in the coming legislative period and submit to the Flemish Government. Taking into account an implementation after 2026, the corresponding policy trajectory should ideally start mid 2025.
